I keep posting this one
Aug. 3rd, 2005 05:06 pmBut I like it!
Pick an interest from my interests page that either:
1) you know nothing about but sounds intriguing
or
2) you know something about but would love to know what the hell I see in it/why it interests me. Comment and demand an explanation.

Date: 2005-08-04 09:56 am (UTC)Food Porn - Recipe books - with pictures. Mmm, food porn. Matt and I like to lay in bed and look at food porn together, then we might go out to a restaurant or get fancy in the kitchen and indulge - haha we are twisted. :)
Homm3 - Heroes of Might & Magic 3 (I guess you can figure out was HOMM4 is now). One of my favourite computer games (turn based strategy set in a fantasy/medieval world).
Multiverse Theory - I originally read about it in Michael Moorcock's Eternal Champion series but I'd kind of figured it out myself and it's mentioned in many other books - it's pretty much the theory of parallell universes and the infinite possibilities that lie in them.
Sinfest - Sinfest. Hillarious online comic.
Snopes - Urban Legends Reference Page. I spend hours here just hitting the random button. Possibly the best site on the web because it's brilliantly researched and regularly updated.
Twolumps - The adventures of two overly spoiled Russian Blue cats. Another hillarious webcomic.
Free Form Role Play - RP without rules, I play it on mIRC. Create a character, jump in and play. None of this character sheet and stats nonsense. I usually play WoD based stuff, my favourite character to play is a vampire (but not a rulebook race).

Date: 2005-08-05 09:07 am (UTC)You can order straight off the websites. I believe the Mooncup is slightly cheaper - and I think their customer service is better. But I have a Divacup myself.
Whatever you do, don't get a Keeper (similar product made of latex rather than silicone) - their customer service is shocking.
