What that Bowie song that's been in my head the last few days is.

Just a snippet kept running through my head - "Oh, oh oh oh", it reminded me of China Girl but I knew it wasn't.
Finally I decided it might be Starman so I listened to it - yep, it was. :)

Now tell me is this omenish?
Yesterday I wanted avacado on my toasted sandwich so I cut the avacado in half and had a bit of a struggle twisting the two halves apart. Eventually they came apart - and the seed had broken in half perfectly! Unfortunately the avacado was unripe so I couldn't use it (anyone know if it'll still ripen up?) But the seed thing was funky.

Then today I had a nectarine. This nectarine sure was ripe, it was perfectly sweet and juicy and lovely and cool because it had been sitting in the fridge. I sliced it into quarters to pull off the seed as I do - and you know what happened? The stone broke clean in half!! It was interesting to see the seed inside the nut.

That was just weird.

In another news it has topped 40 again and is still terribly humid. My neck is so itchy and sweat is pouring down my face.

cat-scan.com is for sale. I can no longer giggle over silly kitty scans, or see the staypuft marshmallow cat!

And Sel ([livejournal.com profile] boingobaby). Re: your rant - I love you!!
Nancy ([livejournal.com profile] logansrogue), I have a sudden urge to listen to your music, but there's none uploaded on your website. Where can I find some??

I keep starting up posts that I will add to then post later on, but then I come up with something to send to a community so I just post the junk as is so I can use Semagic to post elsewhere. I also hate how the new version of Semagic doesn't format properly when I copy/paste stuff.

I'm considering going to King's Park tomorrow and searching for western spinebill.

Squee!! Just went downstairs to grab a CD and our gecko is back!! He was sitting on the wall all cute like.

I think he's a marbled gecko. I hope he eats all the bugs. :) You can tell he's lost his tail previously because the new one has grown back in a different colour.
