Edit : By Coriander/Cilantro I mean the leaves, not the seed, which tastes completely different.

I was certainly bullied throughout school. And a couple of times I was the bully, and I remember even then it feeling good to have power over someone else, because most of the time it was others having power over me.
And it's interesting to think how a lot of the chronic bullies have now become respectable members of society. Shit, I even remember having crushes on some of the boys that bullied me.

I'm not taking the next two Matrix films into consideration, I like to pretend they don't exist.

Will this become a series?
Feb. 21st, 2008 11:09 amThe idea with this series (which started with the poll on shampoo/conditioner) is to make people aware of the other options out there. Too many people don't use environmentally friendly, healthier and cheaper options simply because they don't know they exist. Only the big companies that are interested in something that is cheap to manufacture and consumable - so you buy more - can afford the saturation advertising to make everyone aware of their existence. The rest has to come via word of mouth.
I'm not cutting this poll because I don't see why I should. Almost every woman menstruates so I don't get why anyone should be embarrassed or ashamed of it. To cater for the sensibilities of some, I've set the poll so no-one can see who answered what.
And in case you didn't know. I use a Mooncup.

Do hot water systems EVER work?
Feb. 18th, 2008 09:43 pmBecause I've never come across one. I wish you could just pick a temperature, and the water would get to that temperature within 10 seconds and stay there. Rather than take 2 minutes to warm up and then fluctuate between scorching hot and freezing cold. *sigh*
In the knee news. I saw a private surgeon today. It cost me $130 for a 10 minute consult (I only get half back on Medicare). I have an MRI scheduled for Saturday afternoon. *Yay!* And I see him again next Tuesday (another $130-$180, thank God I DO have those holiday/house savings).
And now, a poll.
