It looks like bread.
Jul. 14th, 2004 10:11 pmFirst forays with the breadmaker and... success!!
I was a little worried when it didn't beging mixing right away. It just sits for 20 minutes or so, I don't know why, the yeast can't get to work unless it's mixed in.
It looks great on the inside, a few lumpy bits outside. And when I tipped it out of the tin the mixing blade was firmly embedded in the loaf. That took some coaxing to get out. That's the only bad thing about bread makers, that damn hole in the bottom of the loaves.
Well, I can make 3 more loaves with the mix I bought. All good.

Date: 2004-07-14 10:11 pm (UTC)Matt's mum never buys bread anymore. Every night she puts on a loaf to bake and it gets eaten the next day. They also hardly ever buy veges because they have a large garden. But then again, they've lived in the country most of their lives.
