Shellfish - It's a weird term. I think it applies to any mollusc (but maybe not octopus and squid, seeing as they are shelless molluscs) and crustaceans.

White goods - Apparently this term isn't used in the U.S. White goods are those large, generally white appliances - the fridge, the chest freezer, the washing machine, maybe the drier.

No lamb? - One of the questions is what meat have you eaten apart from cow, pig and poultry. I notice a lot of people don't list lamb. Is lamb a commonplace meat only in Australia or something? I LOVE lamb, especially roasted. *drools*

Tipple - I know that this is an alcoholic drink, although I hardly ever use the word either.

Oh yeah - and aniseed is licorice flavour. ;)

But veal is cow, not sheep.

Hehe, at the moment I'm wolfing my through a large bag of Darrel Lea licorice. It's the best ever licorice on earth.
