The last week or so I've been having my curtains closed during the day and open at night.

During the day the sun shines directly on my monitor, so I close the curtains to reduced the glare.

I open them at night so I can look at the sky and watch the sunrise (my bladder alarm clock usually wakes me half an hour before the sun comes up). I also find the sun first thing in the morning gets the melatonin running and wakes me up more fully.

Works for me.

My room faces entirely the wrong direction to have the sunrise rays land on me....although...hey...my natural sleeping pattern seems to be reversed....hmmm...

i have to put up tin foil to keep the sunlight out of my bed room in the summer time. 24 hours of daylight likes to screw up the internal clock..
