Awesome work they do!! One wonders if the councils are secretly praising them. Red tape and bureaucracy simply means nothing gets done - so lets do away with that crap entirely.

My boss really needs to learn, and take on, the meaning of the old phrase -
"A stitch in time saves nine." and "More haste - less speed."

In other news -

I had something else to write but have, of course, forgotten it.

Well there's something that I often contemplate. How much did I win? With a whole heap of cash I could -

- Quit my job and not rush about finding a new one, I could happily be a domestic goddess until a job that perfectly suits me comes along.
- Buy a new car.
- Travel - first priorities are driving to Broome, and doing a 2 week birding tour of Costa Rica, I was hoping to do Broome last year and Costa Rica this year, but then I did my knee and the money ran out, and of course now I have to work as well so I have no time.
- Build a house. And new furniture for it. Proper decor and stuff, not hand-me-downs. And ensure it's built to envrionmentally friendly specifications.
- Give my parents $10,000. I figure I owe them around that much for various things.
- Hire a personal trainer and lose weight and get fit.
- Do all those fun things that I can't currently do due to a lack of money and time.
- Donate money to all the causes I believe in.

Harley Pony!!! Two of my fandoms come together and it is a thing of beauty.

Check out her website for other ponies made up as various cartoon, comic and movie characters. She has a Ledge!Joker pony but I'd love to see a cartoon Joker pony - because it would go with Ms Quinn pony better and probably overall suit a pony better.

P.S. - We won the quiz night again. Apparently we get a handicap next week because we've won 2 weeks in a row.
