I did some on Saturday. Been meaning to for a while. Bought a nice top that looks good with jeans and... a dress, the kind I can wear to work.
It all started when I grabbed a heavily marked down dress off a rack at Target and thought, "What the hell, I'll try it on, see how it looks."
Well, it didn't fit. I got it on, but it was certainly a size too small. But I could see that it did look pretty darn good, so I went out to try and find it in the next size. No bikkie. :(
Later that day I went to a different Target and tried on more dresses of a similar style. 2 were full price, 1 was marked down. They had the same marked down dress I'd tried on at the other Target - and in the same too-small size. Darnit! Anyway, tried on the cheap dress first, it was okay, but a bit too light in colour and not my favourite. The middle priced one fit nicely and looked good. The expensive one was all gathered at the belly so it kinda stuck out once it was on and looked flippin' awful.
So I bought the mid-priced dress. I might see if I can get a few more in similar styles, they look nice and are suitable for work.
