No house

So, the owner is some picky snob that didn't accept ANY of the applications. So he'd rather lose out on $230 a week than let the house to us or the other applicant. Riiiggght.

Ya know, I wish, if the owner is gonna be such a picky asshole that they'd let us know what they're looking for, rather than letting us waste 5 days putting in an application and waiting for a negative answer. Because you can't make multiple applications at once unless you have money to burn.

Ah well, the house hunt is still on. So much for moving before Christmas.

OMG too busy

Jobs at the zoo! Applications must be in by Friday. Sheeeyat!
Must also apply for that other Conservation Council receptionist job (have until early Jan. for that).
Put in application for another house. Not as nice as the previous one but still decent... and cheaper. Same area.
Hopefully visit Greg and his ice cream and Neil Hawkins park. (Where I will inevitably proceed to bitch about feral domestic ducks, rainbow lorikeets and people feeding birds).
Go to Japanese restaurant with Wayne. (Mmmmm sushi).
Go to zoo and hand in application.
Fake apply for some jobs to keep up the Centerlink dictated quota.
Ring Skilled and tell them I'm finished at the WACA, not available till after Christmas. (I need some time to breathe!)

Hah, yaknow, I have not had a chance to relax since I came back Broome. I'm not sure if I ever will.
