Hop, skip, jump
Oct. 22nd, 2004 02:42 pmStretches get rid of exertion headaches. *notes this down*
As I was doing the circuit stuff I felt the headache coming on and was dreading it because exertion and/or sun headaches are the evilest things. But then I did the warm down on the treadmill and the stretches and the starts of the headache went away!! It's a miracle!!
Well, I'm not puffed out (although I got that way during some of the exercises while I was doing them) and I'm not sore... yet.
Tomorrow I will do a beginner pilates class and my circuit after that and this time remember the 20 minutes cardio.
And seeing as I don't feel absolutely buggered afterward I can take a change and get showered and changed there and then potter down to Herdsman or something for a wander. Or go shopping.
Tomorrow I am seriously considering going to the fish market in Inaloo and buying some unagi and grabbing an avacado and making fancy sushi. I really should splurge and buy the pickled ginger to go with it.

Call out for birdie buddies
Oct. 22nd, 2004 03:01 pmThere is campout to assist in CALM bird surveys from Fri 19th to Sun 21st November 2004. It's at Lake Muir which is a little further east than the old Terracon site if you know it. The facilities are decent.
I think this sounds awesome but having another person in the car/tent is always useful.
Anyone interested?
