Mar. 3rd, 2003 08:50 amSince when did "barenaked" become part of the English vocabulary. People are beginning to use it as if it's a genuine word. It hasn't even seen a dictionary. "Bare" and "naked" mean similar things but "barenaked" is NOT an actual word, I wish these dumb uneducated types would stop using it like it is.
And "loose" has made it into official documents, soon it will be offered as the alternative spelling to "lose" in dictionaries *shudders*.
Basic spelling people!!! It's not that hard!!

I would not be surprised if barenaked eventually made it in there too someday soon.
Stop resisting the evolution of language. A language that stops evolving is a dead language, and a symbol of cultural stagnation. YOU WANT US TO STAGNATE, DON'T YOU!!!! TRAITOR TO THE SPECIES!!!!!

"The trouble with all the dumb, uneducate people in this world is that they are, unfortuantly, still clever enough to weild weapons." <----Something said by me which I put in quotation marks to make it appear more wise than it really is.
Re:

The other is that it stands for "For unlawful carnal knowledge", which by the way is the name of a Van Halen album.
