It's evolution bay-bee
Jan. 9th, 2003 08:35 pmI don't get all these religious types who believe that God negates evolution.
I just watched yet another show on evolution and crikey, it just makes me believe in a God even more. All that utter brilliance and chance and simplicity and complexity and adaptation and everything all rolled into one. I mean, how could you look at all that and NOT believe in a God??
*smiles to herself*

We know more about the universe everday. But everytime we answer a question, that question raises more questions than it answers.
Go have a look at quantum physics. I like quantum physics. THey rock, especially at the subatomic level.
Little bits of the universe disappearing and reappearing, and NOBODY KNOWS WHY. But everybodies got a theory. Some of em are MORE improbable than god.
How do you rate an improbability?
Exactly how improbable is god on scale of 1 to 10?
If we know so little about quantum physics, how can we supposed to judge how improbable that is?
People probably said that Einstein's theory was improbable. Yet no credible scientist today doubts the special and general theories of relatvity.
Maybe we will find out the secrets behind quantam physics. Or maybe we will find out its a crock of shit and discover that one of those other theories was correct.
(Being picky here, but all of quantum physics exists on the subatomic level...it only deals with particles smaller than atoms)
