I'm heading to Mt Gibson station (which is now owned by the Australian Wildlife Conservancy, about 400km North-east of Perth) over the Foundation Day long weekend. It's a Birds Australia campout. A weekend of birding for a good cause, we'll be carrying out actual surveys of birdlife instead of just going out to see what's around.
I intend to head off around 10am on the Friday 29th May and return on the Monday evening.
Would anyone be interested in joining me? My tent can accommodate two and my car can carry two comfortably (more uncomfortably - and of course that leaves less space for supplies). Mt Gibson has toilets and showers, and a shearing shed available to sleep in as well.
Reply if you're interested and we'll get organised. :)
