Wow

A year and a half ago Matt and I visited Victoria and spent a week at Narbethong, investigating Lake Mountain, Marysville, Healesville, south to Yellingbo, north to Yea and west to Kinglake.

When we there the country was blanketed in snow and fog.

Now it's on fire. It's kinda sad to think. But knowing the Australian bush and it's need for fire, I know it will bounce back bigger and better.

i saw on abc today that about 50 people are either confirmed dead or unaccounted for. ABC is doing a special mid day bulletin

there is only one person I know directly that may be in the area and the family of another.
