Anyone have any use for candle wax? I have a large white candle which I managed to bury the wick in - so it's unlightable. If anyone has a use for the wax I'd rather let you have it than just throw it in the bin.

Stay tuned for more items we need to get rid of before we move.

Just burn the wick out with a lighter?
I've buried wicks many a time. Just melt the wax around the wick and you'll be fine.

Doesn't work, if I melt the wax, I just have a puddle of wax over the wick instead of solid wax. I've tried to drain it out but that doesn't work either, the channel keeps blocking back up.

You have to tilt the candle, so the wax drips off...
Fun in the bedroom, sometimes :p

why don't you take a knife to it and dig the wick out?

you can use it to ease drawer slides on full wood drawers, or doors, or windows or other sliding items made from wood.

you can also heat it and use it as sealing wax and other fancy stuff!
