Mundane post warning

gemfyreI need something savoury!! And I all I have is sweet stuff. Ack.
Well, today I am all alone at work. Alan is in Bali and Breony is sick. Needless to say it's pretty slack.
I love long weekends, especially when the weather is good. I wore a dress and sandals! On Monday we visited The Maze which I haven't been to since I was... 7 years old? They have a few more mazes there now as well as mini golf (which I was okay at) and disc golf (after a few games I probably would have gotten better). We also got a burger at the cafe there. They score points for music choice. We had mellow reggae at some stage and then Billy Joel - which I sang along to. :) At the end of our time there I got a lemon callipo, because it was a day for one and we drove across to Burns Beach to see the progress of the plants I help plant in the dunes. Wow, there are houses there now and reveg where there used be a drain and a playground/park where there used to be a dirt patch. And of course EVERYONE was picnicking at the beach. We puttered down the coast, because that's always a nice drive before returning home and taking a dip in the spa. What a tough day.

Date: 2008-10-02 10:41 am (UTC)We went to Buselton for 2 days, just got back. I giggled when I saw that your post before this is about caves--we climbed through Ngilgi cave yesterday, believe it or not! Got a lovely "this is what it might feel like to be asthmatic" feeling with the thin air in there. Quite tiring after a while.
