That's the last time I use margarine to make Honey Joys.

Butter all the way baby.

That reminds me of the time I tried to make icing using Nutellex. BIG MISTAKE. IT wouldn't set and was just runny and tasted a bit odd. Oh, you ate it! It was for my tupperware afternoon tea. I now also use real butter for all baking.

I don't even have margarine in the house, it's not useful for anything.

Matt's folks bought some when they were visiting a few weeks back, and of course they didn't get through the whole tub so it was left in our fridge.

I never buy it willingly.

Fair enough... you gotta use it all up :) the only thing I think it's good for is spreading on toast on cold mornings when the butter is likely to be hard... ;)

It's one of the rare upsides of the beige diet. Margarine is very not beige; butter is permissable.
