And I feel a bit like an intruder because 1.5 weeks ago I had almost zero interest in the whole Batman/Joker franchise, and now I'm writing fanfic of events and characters that I barely know (except for the Joker because he's more of a force of nature than a regular, human character). But in way it's useful because I can mold them how I like.

I've been posting them to [livejournal.com profile] knivesandlint, because it's relevant there. I'm overly critical of my own work and my titles are too crap, but I'M WRITING!

So I'm gonna be brave and post you all links if you want to read.

The Damage Has Been Done - This bastard woke me at 6am on a Sunday morning and insisited I get up and write it down. I'm kinda proud of it, but it's nasty and violent. And written more like I used to write - the characters do stuff, and I write about it, instead of the other way around.

Recruiting Harley - Gah, it's crap I tell ya. I read a first chapter of something written by someone else and write a second chapter (and there may be more), but it's not as good as I'd like. Then the original writer posted HER second chapter and it rocked. But I have her blessing to continue the story in my own alternate universe.

Pompatous Of Love - The title does have a vague relation to the story. But nobody's gotten the connection yet. A short one on how I reckon one of the scenes in Dark Knight SHOULD have panned out.

I write a shitload in my head (both original and fanfic) and very very little of it actually gets put down on "paper". In the last 10 years or so I've hardly written anything.

Maybe I should try to resurrect some of my old American Gothic fic.

And writing/reading over 'Damage' even makes me a little queasy.
