What does someone have to do??

Got the letter from the zoo today.

Apparently the positions have been appointed. If so, I didn't even get an interview. This is a job I am totally confident I can do and it's my dream job. I've never felt that way about a job before. And I don't even get an INTERVIEW???

According to the letter I have been put on the files as a potential candidate for "short term or casual positions that may become available". Not much use when I'm already working a secure job because I kinda need an income.

I don't know what else I can do. Maybe I'm destined to work boring but easy office jobs for the rest of my life.

You are NOT destined to work boring but easy office jobs forever. Jobs will suck. Then you'll find better ones. Then you might lose them and end up at sucky jobs again for a while, but there WILL be amazing opportunities for you that will pan out.

Don't give up. You're too good to give up. Have some ice cream and get someone to give you a massage, and then keep putting those applications out there.
