(no, I haven't had word that I have an interview, mum and I are just trying to figure out what I should wear anyway - we have wildly differing ideas.)

But then, a research phone call to the Zoo might clarify what the position of Fauna Keeper might wear. I'm betting khakis (albeit very new, clean and well ironed khakis) and boots...

Date: 2008-04-14 12:15 pm (UTC)I'd be looking on the website for clues, and I would be ringing the contact they had provided for enquiries (every job I have ever applied for has provided a contact for general information about the job - not applications, but the job itself) - and most places value applicants who have shown initiative and done the research about the environment they might be working in.
Hell, anything that might provide some sort of edge is worth a shot, isn't it?
