Maybe it's the change of seasons

The birds outside are getting a lot more vocal and I'm hearing more different species more often.

Maybe that kookaburra that woke me a few days ago wasn't a dream, because I just heard a kookie calling again.

Kookie singing = rain coming.

Rain has never failed to arrive withing 48 hrs of me hearing a kookaburra singing. Not ever have I heard one call without rain coming. It might not be heavy rain - it might be a torrential 'dumping down' rain or it might be Albany-style drizzle (can't makeup its' mind) - but it *always* rains...

I hope you hearing this kookaburra means that it will indeed rain this week :)
