gemfyreYes, yes, 10 Things I Hate About You is one of my favourite movies and my dad knew his auntie or something. Excuse me, still getting over Michael Hutchence.
In other news.
- Apparently C-wank sent me a letter on Jan 3rd asking for more info re: my sickness allowance. I never got said letter, I rang today to see what was happening and found out. Gah. They better backpay me.
- I should call Workcover and find out what the hell is happening there too, haven't heard anything since giving forms to Greg. And the ambo bill is due.
- I see the surgeon tomorrow. He better do a scan and let me out of this brace or I'll scream. I don't care about coughing up $50 for a patella stabiliser - if there's a chance of me walking without crutches and showering properly I want it. Hopefully an op can be quickly scheduled and this can be done with.
- Cat keeps sitting on me, making typing and general other stuff awkward. Arm is hurting due to the weird position I have to put it in.

Date: 2008-01-23 04:29 am (UTC)My folks did take me out last weekend to two wheelchair friendly birding spots. It was nice, nothing out of the ordinary but still much more fun that listening for a few suburban birds from the bedroom.
Once my knee is better I'm planning to drive to Broome and back, which will let me bird the Pilbara and Gascoyne which should bring up a few newies for me.
Just you wait until I get to Costa Rica, THEN the birding will be excellent.
