I hate work

No, seriously. I don't mean my job, I mean work in general.

I'm not able to do most of the things I want to do now I'm working. I finish work and come home and I'm buggered, then before I know it it's time for bed. I want to go to some of the local lakes and wander around them after work (which is possible due to daylight savings), but once I finish work I don't want to walk another step, I just want to go home and sit down. Fancy dinners aren't happening anywhere near as often because I don't have the time and energy to plan them and make them.

I don't know how these people manage the gym, the beach, a few drinks and other stuff in the afternoons. And then come weekends there's housework so pleasure takes second place. Life is just work and sleep, which is rather unfulfilling. Sure I have money, but no energy to enjoy it.

I need to buy more lotto tickets.

Hey, it tends to happen, I've flunked out of TAFE because after only working 3-4 days I was so tired that the dishes would pile up so much. I was so sleep deprived that I couldn't face doing an assignment & basically just had a breakdown. I only had 5 weeks to go too but showing up to work 1/2 asleep, being a total grump at home all the time & going to school & having random bursts of crying was just doing me no good. I'm hoping by having my weekdays back again will mean I can get out in the garden again, feel like washing the car & spend some time with the cats. I really also want to start swimming again. If you want some inspiration, J is always looking for photo ops & is keen to go birding sometime. What work are you doing at the moment?
