Of course she's gonna blitz this.
I really hate that horizontal head wobble that seems to be the realm of black chicks.
She sings well, but doesn't move well, at least not during this song. Cosima did much better.

Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough - Michael Jackson
I am very loving Benji.
C'mon Ben, give us more of that falsetto. He's having fun with it, but the vocals are just... shit.
Gee, the judges are talking it up. I adore Ben, but that performance was not as his peak. But he's only gonna get better.
So far both these songs have been previously done on Idol. Maybe there's a standard list of disco songs for them to do.

Finally Mark has a genre to test him, and well, great song choice is a good start.
If I didn't have a cat on my lap I'd be Hucklebucking.
Ah Mark. I like you more every week. His voice is far from perfect, but he's a true performer and owns everything he does.

Why do you not know anything about disco just because you're young? Most of the music I love best was around before I was born!
Is it me, or is her singing off in spots? She just needs a big injecton of confidence and she could be really good.

Another song already done on Idol (although as a group song).
I hate how he contorts his mouth like that, it's freaky. He still looks like a spaz, but this is his best vocal yet, except for that weird bit where he tried to sing false.

Oh Marty, Marty I fear for you. Please surprise me.
Ooh, I like the song choice. Hah! He even dresses like Hot Chocolate. Okay, this is one of those examples of rearranging it to suit your style, and getting away with it (ala Bobby Flynn).
Well, I do agree he looks like Agro, but Mark is being a real ass this season.

This is not disco, but I like the song. That stray hand is bugging me - a lot is bugging me tonight eh? This is good, nice, easy. Yeah, nothing really spectacular, but certainly not a bad performance. Maybe Daniel just bores me. *shrug*
That shirt is way too pink too.

ANOTHER group Idol song.
I fear for Carl more than I feared for Marty. Right, these guys are really picking thier feet up. All I can say is I'm relieved. That was not an utter disaster.
Agree with Mark now. I must stop agreeing with the judges. I really don't know how I feel about the incessant scatting. And "incessant scatting" just sounds wrong.
Do you guys over east get the BottleMart "Close To You" ad?

This song has also previously been done (but it was the original version). Eee, I love that high register. I don't believe he looked at the camera once during that... weird. That was barely disco, but the vocal was great. That is not touchdown material yet Mark. pffffl He has now been Touchdown Cursed.

BORRRINGG song choice. *yawns* This song is so overdone.
But of course, the performance is great and faithful to disco. Didn't like the oversung ending.
The stylists just can't get her legs right can they? The poor girl should just be plonked into jeans. Big fishnets look kinda silly. Maybe if it was little fishnet it would look better. Maybe I'm just opinionated.
