Just watched my new pony video. Well it's terribly corny, barely any character development and events just happen with no background whatsoever. Firefly appears in Megan's well, introduces herself and immediately Megan is on her back and off to ponyland, I mean wouldn't YOU be wary if a pink and blue pegasus landed in your well and demanded you go with her??
But it's soooo cute. And makes me all bouncy and kidlike again. And the seapony song, goddamn the animation there is hillarious, it so should be released as a single. Go you groovy seaponies!!
Interesting how in the second one there's all these scenes and it's like "Oh look, marketing vehicle for baby ponies, marketing vehicle for the Megan & Sundance set, marketing vehicle for the pony wear with jewlery". I found myself announcing the models and outfits during the Dressed Like A Dream sequence. "And now we have Sparkler modeling From The Designer Collection! Posey modelling Pom Pom Pony!" etc etc.
And doesn't it worry you that a catlike creature and a lizardlike creature are lovers??
And gee it suddenly got really warm. Wanna go to the beach!! *whines*

I can't remember if I've seen it or not but if I did it woulda been when I was 7 or so.
