More reason to keep all my money in a piggy bank

Bank West informed me today that there is now a $7.50 fee for changing foreign money. What an utter load of crap, there goes me selling to people in the U.S. and liking the fact cuz I get double what they pay due to our pitiful exchange rate.

They've also recently introduced a fee for transactions online, so I get slugged everytime I make a direct deposit for an eBay win.

And I got charged $3.25 for an "electronic transaction fee". Apparently EFTPOS also counts towards your 20 a month electronic transactions, I'm sure it used to be just ATMs and they changed it without letting me know. So much for just using the card so I didn't need to carry around cash.

Banks suck, one day everyone will just have had enough and withdraw all their money and the banks will be like "but what did we do??"

Stupid banks.

What the fuck does "bootylicious" mean and WHY does she sing "I don't think your ready for this jelly."?? Why, because it's not set yet? because it's a flavour you won't like?? weirdness, it's only in my head cuz that teeny weeny chick at karaoke sung it and did it really well and that drunk guy did his little dance to it.

don't you have more than one bank in town?
there is a transaction fee everywhere, almost, to convert money, but our bank will let you open a u.s. only account for free. wacky eh? to funnel your us money into, then just transfer from the us to your reg account for no charge. it's nuts. we are only charged if they have to exchange it before our eyes...like it costs to perform a magic trick like that, bastards! also, you can tell people it costs _this much_ to exchange us for aussie, so include it in your auction terms that people have to send international (meaning aussie m.o.s) or they will need to add in extra for the exchange...lots of sellers do it.

yeah I'll prolly just hafta start charging the fee, but that sucks. I really liked my bank because it didn't charge for stuff like exchanging currency but now Bank West is getting just as crap as all the banks on Australia.
