Looks like I'm on the losing side for this one. A Bugs Life definitely was more popular, but I just think Antz had more story to it :P

That and it was pretty good CGI for the time.

Antz - Woody Allen, amusing wasps at a picnic. Evil ants wanting to flood colony. "For the good of the colony!" catchcry. Brown ants.

Bugs Life - Blue ants. Grasshoppers terrorising them. Circus troupe of various bugs.
