Uprooting again

I don't really want to, when I got the job in Broome I NEEDED to move away from everything and everyone. But now I'm all settled down and really don't want to uproot again, but alas, the job is 250km away - a little too far for a daily commute.

And because I am moving, I should have a going away get together because they are cool. I have no idea when the shindig will be, but I'm hoping to be moved within the month.

My birthday is also just over a month away.

At least a year.

I will be coming back to visit some weekends seeing as it's a 2.5 hour drive. I just hope the cats will be okay being left alone for 2-3 days.

Yeah, and the bus isn't too much, so that's something, too. Never know, they might send me out there to teach, heh. Not sure if I will put any country preferences on, though.

Re: karaoke... I still dunno. I wouldn't count on me, my head is all spinny and my throat's a bit strained. But we'll see in an hour or so, I guess.
