Red Eye in the cargo hold
Jul. 1st, 2006 04:41 amThe plan was to take a few bottles of Red Eye with me to Malaysia. Mainly so I can survive the first day because I will have had little sleep beforehand.
Last night Msquared brought up a valid point - Red Eye is carbonated and cargo holds are not pressurised.
I can't take it in my onboard luggage because it's in glass bottles.
Anyone have any experience with this? Should I not take them?

;-)
And you should be able to buy some in the larger cities in Malaysia and then carry that around with you.

Date: 2006-07-01 03:18 am (UTC)the bottle should be better than any oher container in the hold. I have had bottles of mouthwash explode in the hold... though they are always in plastic
they would be better off tinthe hold though... glass is stronger than platic like that.

Date: 2006-07-01 04:01 am (UTC)And 3 bottles of Red Eye would probably tip over the weight of my hand luggage. One bottle though...
And the airport phoneline is closed on weekends. Useful, seeing as fly out just after midnight on Sunday night.
