Sheesh, the way some people are carrying on you'd think Livejournal was trying to ban breastfeeding outright and succeeding.

Eeeh, the more of 'em gone, the better ^_^

I don't mind so much seeing them in public, I mean feeding a baby is pretty necessary. What isn't necessary is icons of it. I don't want to see people's boobs, lactating or not, if boobs are against the rules.

I am in 2 minds about this:
- breastfeeding is natural and normal and why would anyone fuss? particularly as some of this seems to be somewhat nasty / bitchy child-free vs Boob_nazis

- naked flesh in a default icon is a bit offputting if you surf from work.

However there are default icons that show more boob, when clothed, than some nursing moms show with baby covering essentials.

I actually think that if they (LJ/6S) had done this right in the first place rather than going 'ew, BOOBIES!' then there wouldn't be this fuss.

I think the worst one I saw was that guy doing the dog... don't see any harm in breast feeding and dont think I'm too fussed about seeing it anywhere, but when you delve into wierd fetishes as ur icon, thats when it can become controversial
