Yay she used the tray!

She peed in it. Hopefully she uses it for everything else too.

I just learned that she expects FRESH dry food in the mornings. So I just sprinkled a little fresh stuff on the top and that fooled her. I'll replace uneaten tinned food but unless it's crawling with ants or something dry food stays until it's eaten (as long as it hasn't been too long.

I'd suggest decreasing the amount of dry food given to her bit by bit until you reach the point where she eats all of whats in her bowl over the course of a day.

Yeah, I'm gonna do that.

I'm used to Phantom and her habits. Phantom has a self-filling bowl for dry food because mum & dad sometimes go away for the weekend. She's also indoor/outdoor so if she needs to relieve herself she just exits via the cat door. And even though she can be a smooch, she also likes her alone time. Lil is all smooch, all the time.

I used t use one of those automatic feeders with my cat Ombra, too. But, whe I moved in with m roommates, Grier's cat Bailey will gorge herself, and gain weight quickly, which forces us to put the cats on a strict feeding schedule.

I was just reminded of a story a friend of mine tells, how an ex girlfriend peed on his stereo. So, you have no idea how much "Yay she used the tray!" makes me giggle. :P
