Greycat just approached me, and I didn't have any food, and let me pat him. After I'd moved and tried to come back again he went the other way though so I didn't push it.

And on Sunday a new cat is arriving. A 12 year old female that was on her way to being put down because her owner died and the husband is a bit of an asshole and figured he'd just euthanise the cat. My sister-in-law would have taken her in, despite them having loads of pets already, but she knew I was also wanting a cat, so she shall be mine.

So now I'll have an indoor and an outdoor cat. :)

Of course I do!

It's just time and money issues. Also I don't know if I can technically have a pet on the property yet - but I'll ring about that on Monday.

Two cats is nowhere near crazy cat lady status. It's not even in the same town!

It's really wonderful that you're taking in this new kitty. Some people think of pets as another piece of trash to get rid of after their owner dies.
