How do people manage full time work? I get up, I get ready, I go to work. I come home, I have dinner, I am buggered and go to bed as early as possible. In the winter it'll barely be light when I start and finish.

There is no time left for housework or hobbies or people or me. :(

I'll only stay in this job for as little time as possible (but I'm not just going to quit because I want a real salary for a change). The paper makes my hands all dry. The numbers make me go cross-eyed. A lot of the records have barely any rhyme or reason to their ordering. There's no view either, just cooped up inside all day - although the warehouse is inspiring various horror novels.

blegh

I wish my body didn't require so much damn sleep, maybe then I'd actually get something done.

I've always known I was a hedonist at heart.

I often wonder the same thing. Going to miss summer & its light evenings!

I know what you mean; I felt the same the whole way through my ten week prac last year. Get up at 7, go to school, teach, come home, plan lessons for tomorrrow, and then it's 10:30 and I have to go to bed.

It'll probably seem a little easier once you're used to the routine, though. I don't know if that's something to look forward to or not.

Or you could be honest and ask for time off. Depends what the basis of your employment is right now. Are you on contract? Are you full time or cas?

It's full time, but temporary with the outlook to becoming permanent. Today was only my second day.

I wonder that too. ^_~

Really, there is time in the day if you plan it that way. Otherwise it's very easy to let the days zoom by.

Haha yeah. Second day, not as bad as the first.

I'll be a lot more motivated after next Wednesday (first pay).
