No, RU486 will possibly kill women who took it to prevent becoming a mother (of that particular child). They may or may not already be mothers.

Aspirin and Paracetamol will possibly kill Australian mothers too, and there's no hoo-hah about that. Why? Because the debate damn well IS about abortion. I can handle it being about abortion, the debate has raged for many many years and will continue because there will always be pro-lifers and pro-choicers. Denying the fact is what pisses me off.
I hope I never have to, or want to use this drug. But if the situation ever arises I would like to have the informed choice.
