Hey, I don't know if you fancy a bet on the Melbourne cup but something made me think of you because of your "My Little Pony" collection so I'd like to offer you a tip. -

There is a horse running in the Melbourne cup called Jardine's Lookout who is from England. Jardine's lookout is stabled with his pony companion called Henry who travels with him everywhere. Henry is a 14 year old Shetland pony that travels everywhere with Jardine's lookout and even does trackwork with him.

Originally the trainer wasn't going to be bring Henry on the voyage to Australia for the Melbourne cup but they said that Jardine's lookout became so inseperable from Henry that they decided to bring Henry (the pony) with him.

Here is the really cute thing - if Jardine's lookout wins the Melbourne cup they will allow Henry to parade in the enclosure with him with the victory sash.

I find it a really cute and warming story. I thought you might appreciate it and would have a frame of reference for it in the Melbourne cup if the horse wins.
