I honestly can't remember.
And I could be wrong about the distance. But more than a few seabirds and migratory feathered creatures have come through.

i only ticked the ones i know i've done. not sure how bizarre any of the moults i saw were at the cannon netting, and no idea how far the birds i held there travel.

I caught a hummingbird in my bare hand once. It was tired, of course; it had been buzzing around my elementary school classroom for an hour.
