Mud daubers

I used to be terrified of any insect with the warning orange/red/yellow and black colouration.

This evening as I returned to my room one circled me a few times and I just watched it curiously, realising I was near its nest. Then I realised my gown was the precise colour of the caterpillar it paralyses to feed its young.

I don't squeal around bugs like that how I used to.

Going out for dinner tonight. Day off is Saturday - hopefully I can get to the markets and shop a bit.
