Hrmm, I like this essay

I believe in God, but I also am a student of science and evolution.
What God would you rather, a simplistic one that just makes everything and that is that? Or one that puts mechanisms in place so things can constantly and unpredictably change and grow??

nothing you can 'make' will ever stay the same, in this world. everything, living or not, degrades.
is your question pertaining to some static world?
if so, then i choose the world of constant change.
btw, the age old arguement...i find these reads facinating. i especially like these quotes from the essay:
-"Evolutionists seem to choose to forget that many of their fundamental things are based upon ideas, not proof.
-"Evolutionists ignore the fact that they rely on circular reasoning."
conversely:
creationists seem to choose to forget that many of their fundamental 'things' (i choose to keep that nifty wording) are based upon ideas, not proof.
creationists ignore the fact that they rely on circular reasoning.
notice how noone ever argues about man's ego?
to be honest that would be the first point i may fall for in an arguement about creation. you know, 'man made in god's image'. if you believe the stories, god has a mutherfucker of a big ass ego, always making people go around 'proving' their love for him, yet expecting blind faith in return.
smacks of 'god made in man's image' to me.
what? tangent? me? nah.....
