Yep, massive drama for BBO. Unfortunately I can't say much about it, political diplomacy issues and stuff.

Migration watch is getting better and better though, loads of barwits left tonight.

I had long paragraphs to write and have successfully forgotten them all as per usual.

Oh yeah, such a damn hot day that the bird baths were going OFF! Never seen so many species there in one day. And THREE diamond doves. So far I'd only ever seen one at a time.

Read some PotO based Erik/Raoul slashfic last night. There are thousands of awful fanfic writers on the net, and then there are those who can take Erik and Raoul, get slashy with them and make it WORK. And the end was so damn sad! *sobs*

*ahem*

Gonna read my e-mail now then eat some dead cow. Lucky some of our guests are steak connesuirs so we had a discussion about how a good steak should be cooked.

I amuses me that at least 15% of the folks on my "birding" filter are into fanfiction. I've pretty much gotten out of fanfic, largely because my fandoms have been overrun by Mary Sues.
