Everyone's become so boring!

Most of my friends are like "Ah I can't be stuffed going to the Skyshow, I think I'll stay home and drink and watch videos."

No-one wants to go out and have a good time anymore. I've been to the Skyshow as many years as I can remember and loved it every time.

actually if it's on Mix 94.5 then it should be being broadcast on the net... I remember back in 2000 I listened to the station using realplayer once or twice whilst I was mucking around in the computer labs.

mix certainly do have a webcast, and it should be findable from their site. haven't looked though. they're always advertising the fact and they get some callers from odd places

After last years wonderful effort from the dickheads on the southern foreshore, I'm not wanting to return to that side of the river anytime soon for the fireworks. I've never seen them from the city side anyway, so it will be good as it will be different. And I just have got to a point where I've seen my fill of fireworks going boom. They're all very much the same.
I'm still oging though, because gem wants to go.

What I find anoying is all our friends only have drink/movie nights because of something like this now, rather than for almost no reason at all.

As far as I'm concerned the only thing that matters about Australia Day is who you celebrate it with... the skyworks are pretty, but meh. And everyone's got their own little group to celebrate with, so it's not like you're going to be able to celebrate with all the people that you want to. A very hit and miss affair I think.

tis easier to avoid the traffic, its a pain in the system trying to get home afterwards. i havent seen any fireworks recently so i wanna go see them, after last year im not too keen on the south perth foreshore, we did hang out on the nedlands foreshroe fro a bit before going to south perth and it was quite apleasurable day. so ive decided im never going to look for anyone ever again and people can come to me ;)

also we had Rar with us last year (and will do again today obviously) and because he is a knee high black dog no one saw him at night and kept kicking him by accident so we did have a bit of fun making a glowstick collar for him and walking him around south perth with that as we were trying to get back to our car, nobody kicked him and he drew a lot of attention ;)
