The atmosphere outside is really quite amazing.

Visibility has been reduced to maybe 20 metres, apparently you can't see the CBD from the Narrows Bridge, but the light is really stunning. The sun shining on the ground is bright orange and it refracts and reflects and just looks eerie.

Apparently last night the moon was blood red.

Hope they get the fires under control soon.

I'm glad I don't have asthma.

when i woke up this morning i thought it was 8am because of the colour of the light coming in my window.. i got up to have my tablets before going back to bed and noticed the kitchen clock said 11.15

it was WEIRD.

i then quickly went and rescued my washing off the line

My cousin lives in Kalamunda and her, her husband and son are all Asthmatics which kinda sucks for them. They have the mundaring fire under control because they put in fire breaks but if the wind changes (which is will) everything is back under threat again. Visibility all over perth is shocking and theres a SHIT load of ash all over perth, in Vic park is was dropping like snow. They also suspect someone whos got some kinda relation to fire is to do with all of this, possibly someone from CALM or something like that because people were against the hills doing burning off the past few yuears, whoever this is knows exactly what they are doing, and whoever it is needs to be goddamn castrated for this because not only are they putting homes at risk, but they are also putting peoples health at risk because of all this shit in the damn air.

We took the telescope out last night - & yes the moon was RED! It was amazing. Then I had an asthma attack & had to go in. It was cool though.
