That must have been one hell of a job to get everything back up and running and they managed it in less than a weekend.

I REALLY REALLY wish there was an easy way to store your journal though. If I ever lost this thing (as in, everything I have written) I'd feel like I just lost photo albums in a fire or something. This is my history and memory sitting on a server somewhere for the world to read if they choose.

In other news! The Huygens probe has landed on Titan!

Slight technical point from a rather frustrated and snippy emu_bitter_babe, who happens to be on that GODDAMN MAD COW server:

I also am on madcow, so im reading my friends friends page (qswaxz)... Im just glad that lj is still a free service and that they got the rest of the site up. Plus, guess what sever will be next in line for upgrades!! (i hope)

there are a couple of programs which allow you to do offline updates (and sync later). google for them. The only I ever used was YaxJournal but it shat me off after I while.
