Mmm, just showered. I smell nice again.

Anyone know how to get cigarrette smoke smell out of leather? My beloved leather jacket reeks of smoke and is gradually stinking out my whole wardrobe. Something I rather resent seeing as I don't smoke myself.

In my perfect world my friends (and everyone) wouldn't have to be addicted to something that saps their money, ruins their health AND ruins the health of those around them.

Was just pondering. Many smokers say cigarettes help them relax. I don't need cigarettes to relax. I reckon inhaling cancer causing substances would stress me out MORE!

Perspective from an occasional smoker -- I smoke when I drink and when I hate my job.

Somehow cigarettes manage to serve two very different purposes for me. When I'm anxious and frustrated and all-around miserable, they help me feel more calm and grounded; I think they also give me a bit of a lift because they're slightly naughty. When I'm drinking, they counteract the depressive effects of the alcohol and make me more 'up' and perky. When I partied more often, I worked off the credo: "Drink 'til you're drunk, and smoke 'til you're jittery. Repeat."

This has been another example of why smoking is bad ^_^

use febreeze on it. Or Hang it outside for a bit.

otherwise you will have to dry clean it.

I think it would do that to me, too. I just stick with my coffee, even though that's probably going to kill me too, lol.

Ugh! stinky clothes suck!
Umm...Do you have Febreze or some other kind of deodorizing spray over there? It might not get rid of the smell permanently, though...and I'm not sure if it would do anything to the leather...but that's all I can think of right now.

I febreezed something once and found that the smell of the Febreeze was pretty icky too.

So much for "eliminates odours", it just covered it with it's own unpleasant smell.

I smoked when I was in high school, and it gave me more of a buzz than anything else. But I havn't smoked in 5 years and I don't intend to, it sticks. I just got a lot of ponies from ebay that reaks and even thought the seller was really nice and shipped fast, I just can't give them a positive feedback, the smell totally tuined it.

you'll prolly have to have it cleaned...
baring that, try airing it out, like hanging it in a protected outside place instead of your closet.
leather is just icky at absorbing smells.

Oh, and I have no idea if you have this product in aus because it's made in Canada, but have you ever heard of enviro-fresh? It works wonders.
