Call out for birdie buddies

There is campout to assist in CALM bird surveys from Fri 19th to Sun 21st November 2004. It's at Lake Muir which is a little further east than the old Terracon site if you know it. The facilities are decent.

I think this sounds awesome but having another person in the car/tent is always useful.

Anyone interested?

Air matresses are wonderful these days. :)
The bugs can get annoying if they get in the tent, and camping in summer you have deal with flies which sucks.
Peeing outdoors - well that depends where you set up.
Dodgy food - only if you take dodgy food. I am craving a camping trip down near the Leschenault Inlet - crabs!!
Walking - but walking is good!
Carrying heavy stuff - ah you see, my kinda camping usually involves driving to a caravan park/camp ground with ablution block and setting up right by the car. ;)

Ok well, that almost sounds civilised!
Although I'm still not sold on the food situation - anything with an exoskeleton is off the menu as far as I'm concerned!
Maybe if I were feeling energetic it'd not be so daunting a thought but I'm so sore from work lately that all I want to do is be comfy.
