Whilst watching ET, and taking a rare moment of oblivion for my brain, I saw a trailer for Bruckheimer's 'King Arthur'. Aaaaaaand is that Guinivere painted with woad designs?! It looked good..
It is Guinivere woaded up, and that is Hadrains wall.
Living in Edinburgh, we have Arthurs Seat, which is a dorment volcano, where king Arthur was ment to have sat.. once.. along long time ago ... I guess someone told him the view was good from up there, or that the Picts would not bother him since its a 4 mile hike!..:) So though its an odd take on the legend, it might be quite good..:):)
(its not quite 4 miles, but its a hike) ((Sorry for randomly commenting like this,))
Nono, it's quite alright! I'm into visual aesthetics and preparing to change degrees to FTV (Film and Television); I saw this and thought it looked very interesting as I don't think any of the numerous takes on the Arthur narrative had likely even thought of doing that, especially with the comeback she replied with to the king's "lonely men" comment! =D
(as an aside, you haven't had the chance of meeting an American by the name of Chris in Edinburgh have you? He's going to Edinburgh uni doing Celtic studies of some sort. It'd be a pretty wild coincidence - just wondering!)
