i think people have the most luck selling underwear that was supposedly locked away in the roof for god knows how long >_< weird place, ebay.
with jewellry you have to get it all in fancy shots, with the light just right, etc, etc.. that and people will be sus because, well, it's jewelry, and they can't check it's quality. Or something, I suppose. Never used ebay. No credit card.
you can do what you like on ebay without a credit card, except join. You need a credit card to join and thats it (god only know why) From then on most sellers will happily get their money off you other ways like direct debt, money trasfers, cheques etc
I actually had it confirmed a couple of weeks ago.
You don't need a credit card to sign up to eBay.au if you have a non-free e-mail address (like hotmail, yahoo etc) Not sure how it works with U.S. eBay.
I have an e-mail address from my ISP so I was able to sign up and do stuff no problem. I paid my selling fees with my mum's credit card until they introduced direct deposit - now I take care of it all myself.
