The hole in my Docs is now officially a hole.

*looks at piggy bank*
I am thinking it will be emptied soon to get me a new pair.

These Docs have served me damn well. I've had them since March 1997. Definitely $200 well spent.

I love my Docs...they are still going strong. I think I've had them since 99 or so. People thought I was crazy for spending the money, but it was well worth it, the same with yours.

I understand. :) I had a pair, & even though they were a size too big, I wore them until they were officially falling off my feet.

I saw a nice pair of docs in my size (!) at an op shop near my Dad's place a little while ago for $20! They were in good nick too, enough to make me wanna buy shoes from an op shop, but I couldn't afford them =(

I can never find my size in op-shops. My feet are too big.

I'll just save up and buy a new pair to last me another 7 years. :)

I live in my docs!!! Have had them since 99 as well but when I got pregnant around the same time my feet swelled and I couldn't get them on for about a year! Op shop shoes rock! Got a pair of turquoise blue chuck taylors for .50c! How great is that? My size and I am sure they were brand new! Had them since bout 01 and they are lasting awesomely!

Oh this old pair can move onto the next stage of service for me.

I really need a pair of old shoes I can walk in swamps and reefs with. These will be ideal, so they'll serve me a few years yet!
