My new shiny black multimudia keyboard and optical scroll mouse just arrived.

Man they are niiicce. I have a back and forward button on my mouse again and the keyboard is clean and the keys make a nice sound.

I <3 my optical mouse with its forward and back buttons, scroll wheel (that I have set to maximise windows when I press it) and no need for a mouse pad.

How the smeg do ppl stand meeces without a scroll wheel? Bugs me enough at work that there are no fwd/back buttons, and I can't maximise with it. No scroll wheel is dark ages.

I'm actually using a mousemat at the moment because my desk is plain white and the opti has nothing to get it's bearings with.

It's a groovy moving image of fish on the front, but that kinda surface is also useless for the opti, so I have it turned over with the rubbery grey side up and have it blu-tacked down so it doesn't slip. Works for me, the mat takes up the entire space I have for my mouse anyway.

I have one too, and a flat-screen black 'puter. Aren't they just SEXY looking?
