I have said it before but...
I MUST say it again.
Sweet Lips fucking rocks. And it's only a 5 minute drive away.
Hadn't had it in 6 or 7 weeks. Thier summer special is $9.90 for a serve of whiting, a serve of light 'n' tasty squid rings and a serve of chips. Their regular hake and chips is $6.90 and you get two largish fillets and loads of chips, we usually get squid as well ANYWAY because the light and tasty stuff is soooo good. Most places do squid in such a way that I don't really like it but Sweet Lips does something to it that makes it amazing. Matt prefers the rings but I prefer the tentacles.
So I changed my order to get tentacles instead of rings, no problem, they cost the same anyway.
Then the meals came out.
SIX decent sized whiting fillets, the usual generous serve of squid and loads of chips as usual, couldn't eat all of them.
All for $9.90!! And then they have the frequent customer cards that give you $5 or $10 off depending on how many stamps you have. And for ages we used the two for one vouchers that were on the back of the dockets from our local supermarket for ages (this is how we discovered them in the first place).
They are utterly amazing. I usually complement it with a bottle of Red Eye Platinum and we eat it on Friday nights before karaoke. And all is right with the world.
I answered the questions considering how I am now. I answered no to the suicidal thoughts one because, although in the past I have had those thoughts, these days I don't get them at all so I don't think it counts.
Last time I took this I had highs and moderates all over the place.
But trust me, I am in no way becoming mentally stable. ;) I mean c'mon, I want to elope with kitchen appliances and that is NOT normal. *giggles*

Date: 2004-02-02 07:52 am (UTC)I may have to sample this fishy goodness. By "may" I mean I would be there right now if I wasn't working ^_^
