Karaoke was busy on Friday. We had a pub crawl that left before the actual karaoke started *cheer*, and a bunch of law students that were there to celebrate after some election *boo*.

First song I got was Groovy Kind Of Love, which was a beautiful juxtaposition from Paul doing Bad Touch just before me. Quite amusing.

Now when Paul got called up to his second song some moron also got up on the stage, with a beer. Norbert told him to get off the stage with the drink. He didn't leave. Norbert asked a few more times, not so politely. He still didn't leave, so some people from the crowd were trying to remove him. He did some butt dance on the stage and finally left. Dickhead.

I was up next. I was meant to do All My Love but once again the numbers got screwed up and Norbert put in the wrong CD. Oh well, he put on In Bloom for me instead which went down a lot better. Halfway through my song moron boy splashes beer on Norbert's sound board. I let him know it was dickhead boy and he and Matt proceeded to remove him from the bar. I finished my song.

A little while later I look out the window and see security guard talking to moron boy. Moron boy has a jug of beer (how the heck did he get MORE alcohol when it was already obvious he was off his face? Probably got it from somewhere else.) He is splashing it all over the ground, how clever.

Then he starts to get rowdy and security guard tries to settle him down. But next thing you know dickhead is throwing punches. I see them go down behind a bush outside and assume secuirty guard has him on the ground. Go outside a few minutes later and see that I am right.

However there's more to the story. Security guard is bleeding profusely from his head! Moron is screaming to be let up. Eventually he got so rowdy two other people had to step in to restrain him. He had to be on more than just alcohol because he was screeching his head off while everyone else was just telling him to calm down.

Eventually the police were called to deal with it. Moron boy insists he was "Just out having a good time." and "He bled on me!" Well gee, maybe if you hadn't punched him or struck him with the beer jug then he wouldn't have bled! And generally people who think having a good time means annoying and hurting others are generally considered criminals. Sure, security guard was restraining him with a hand around the throat which by law is probably "wrong". But I am on the side of common sense because the law is a load of shit. What else was he meant to do? Let moron boy get up and maybe throw a few more random punches? I commend the security guard for doing his job well.

Oh yeah, and I find out later that he also hit Paul and Matt almost decked him. Again I reiterate - dickhead.

Despite the drama I didn't have too bad a time. All the Marsians got up on stage and sang "Sit On My Face" which was amusing, and I danced a lot. I like dancing.
